Urgent need for Mycoplasma phages for a patient
We are urgently seeking Mycoplasma genitalium phages for a patient.
Since phages against this pathogen are rarely studied, ANY help or advice on how to work with/isolate Mycoplasma phages is appreciated, even if you don't have phages or the time to participate in a phage hunt or in phage preparation.
Ways to help at this stage:
- By testing your phages on the patient's strain
- By sending your phages for testing on the patient's strain
- By attempting to isolate new Mycoplasma phages on the patient's strain
- By offering advice on how to work with/isolate Mycoplasma phages
- By helping spread the word about this request
- By providing us with names/email addresses of labs you think we should contact
