Locus Biosciences, a clinical-stage company engineering bacteriophages as precision antibacterials, is hiring a full-time, entry-level Development Technologist or Research Technician for a two-year rotational program between its Chemistry, Manufacturing and Controls (CMC) and Research & Development departments at Research Triangle Park, North Carolina. The work spans formulation and bench-scale process development, automated molecular-biology and microbiology workflows including high-throughput screening of phage activity, and cloning of engineered phages. Candidates need a technical certificate or a Bachelor’s to Master’s degree in a related science with some laboratory experience; the job is on site.
