DST and DFG support International Research Training Groups combining joint research, structured doctoral training, cross-border supervision and research visits between Indian and German institutions. DST’s portal lists the programme as active; the linked bilateral guidance specifies February 1 and August 1 cutoffs for joint draft proposals submitted to both funders. Full proposals are invited after a positive assessment. Prospective consortia should coordinate with both programme offices before submitting.
