The FEMS–ASM Mäkelä-Cassell Award will support one ASM member attending FEMS MICRO Ljubljana 2027 with up to €4,000 and complimentary registration. Eligible applicants are current PhD students or researchers within five years of their PhD, with allowances for specified leave. Apply during abstract submission by December 15, 2026 at 23:59 CET; the application requires an unpublished, previously unpresented abstract, a CV, two nomination letters and a supporting statement.
