MicrobiotiX completes KRW 20 billion Series B and wins grant for Korea's first phage clinical trial

MicrobiotiX, a Korean bacteriophage-therapy company, completed an extended Series B totaling 20 billion KRW (29 billion KRW raised across rounds). It was also selected for the Korean Ministry of Health and Welfare's Infectious Disease Prevention and Treatment Technology Development Project, a 2.5 billion KRW clinical award, and plans to begin the first human clinical trial of phage therapy in Korea.
