PhageEU formalised as a Brussels-based non-profit to represent the phage community in Europe

PhageEU, a coalition founded by Proteon Pharmaceuticals (Poland), PTC Technology Center (Germany) and JAFRAL (Slovenia) that represents phages in industry, science and civil society, has registered as a non-profit organisation with its seat and secretariat in Brussels. It aims to facilitate access to phage technology in the EU and shape the EU political and regulatory agenda; Jarosław Dastych of Proteon is its first President, and it is open to new members from Europe and beyond.
