PhD on phage- and antimicrobial-peptide-based sprayable biopesticides — Université de Sherbrooke
The Université de Sherbrooke (Department of Chemical and Biotechnological Engineering, Dr Ilaria Rubino, with Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada) has a funded PhD project to develop phage- and antimicrobial-peptide-based sprayable formulations for controlling plant bacterial diseases. The student develops and characterises the formulations and validates them in a plant model; candidates need an MSc in bioengineering, chemical engineering, materials engineering or a similar discipline. Applications go by email to Dr Rubino with a CV, a brief motivation letter and transcripts.
