PhD position in bacteria and materials interactions: living hydrogels with phages and probiotics for wound infections — Biointerfaces Laboratory, Empa (St. Gallen)

Four-year PhD position in Empa's Biointerfaces Laboratory in St. Gallen, Switzerland, in antimicrobial biomaterials, microbiology and bacteriophage therapy. The project develops injectable, self-healing hydrogels that deliver probiotics and bacteriophages to wound sites to treat infections caused by antimicrobial-resistant bacteria and biofilms and to promote tissue regeneration, in close collaboration with bacteriophage experts at ETH Zurich.
