SNIPR enrolls first patient in Part 2 of Phase 1b/2a SNIPR001 trial
The first patient has been enrolled in Part 2 of the Phase 1b/2a clinical trial of SNIPR001, an investigational CRISPR-armed phage therapeutic candidate for preventing E. coli bloodstream infections in hematopoietic stem cell transplant patients. The study will enroll 42 additional patients, bringing the total to 66; Memorial Sloan Kettering and Dana-Farber have joined, expanding the study to ten clinical sites. The Phase 2 design was aligned with FDA through a protocol amendment, with top-line results expected in the second half of 2027.
