UCLA Samueli School of Engineering listed chemical engineering PhD graduate Yanxi (Steven) Yang among its 2025 schoolwide awardees, as a Harry M. Showman Prize (graduate) recipient. Yang hosts the "Phage Therapy Today" podcast (20 episodes, more than 7,000 streams across 72 countries), works in Irene Chen's lab on a phage-drug conjugate delivery platform against multidrug-resistant infections, and plans to found the UCLA spinout Paralos Bioscience.
