Dan Evans

Dan Evans is a research technician in the Division of Infectious Diseases at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine and a graduate student in the university's Graduate School of Public Health. He works in the laboratory of Dr. Daria Van Tyne, which screens and characterizes samples from environmental samples to generate a library for use in therapy. He is also an alumnus of the SEA-PHAGES program, having participated during his freshman year at Carnegie Mellon University. Outside of research, Dan enjoys writing about science policy and is an avid bagpipe band snare drummer.
