I’m a molecular microbiologist who developed industrial enzymes and microbial cell factories at Genomatica, Diversa, and Amazon. I founded nonprofit GSD Bio to simplify and democratize vaccine production for epidemic prevention. I’m a tenacious problem-solver, enabling low-cost immunizations, quickly scaled and produced at point-of-need. I’m committed to more sustainable and conscientious practices through creative solutions, particularly by employing the power of biology. GSD Bio seeks collaborators to appropriately test vaccines and other biologics produced using the lactococcal phage-vectored production platform we’ve developed. We’re also looking for help in constructive public communication for support and beneficial impact.
